Our Name

THE name 'SensoMetrics' is almost self-explanatory: it denotes our raison d'etre, the measurement of sensory experience.  The emphasis on measurement is central to the research philosophy of SensoMetrics.

The Logo

The SensoMetrics logo was created in 1989 by Sydney graphic designer, Jon Hawley.

The nose and mouth reflect the salience of olfaction and taste, the sensory focus of most SensoMetrics research.  The colour spectrum invokes the sense of vision.

The importance of vision is further reinforced by the mouth design which, in Picasso-style, also represents the eye.

About SensoMetrics
The premise of SensoMetrics is that the success of any product offering a sensory experience is built upon the quality of that experience.
